Did I like it?: Uh… Did Jack-Jack have powers? Of course, I liked it. After 14 years of waiting the little child in me escaped and danced about the movie theater.

Themes: Animated action, snarky remarks, girl power, fiendish foes, sequel-power, super powers, animal fights, exhaustion, school-girl crushes, MATH homework, super villains, super heroes, secret identities, politics, surprise bad guys, fun side kicks, and cool cars

Short Summary (No spoilers): After the events of the first movie, the Incredible family is trying to adjust to life after getting a taste of the freedom their powers grant.

Favorite thing about it?: Noir raccoon! Ninja raccoon! RACCOONS!!

Below is my review, spoilers may pop up here, so don't read it if you haven't watched it >.<

So, firstly, I’m going to say if you haven’t watched the first one in a while do that first. The second movies literally pick up MINUTES after the first. Do you remember the end of the movie when the villain screamed:

“I AM THE UNDERMINER?”

That’s like… one of the first things that happens in this movie so just be prepared.

Okay, so… If you liked the first movie there is no reason why you shouldn’t like the second. The first movie seemed to be told mostly through the eyes of Mr. Incredible. This movie is mostly about Elastagirl. So it kinda swapped.

After stopping the Underminer the Incredible family is kind of stuck. Their identities haven’t been revealed, but their house did explode in the last movie, so they find themselves living in a hotel.

Suddenly, Mr. Incredible is approached by a mysterious businessman that says that he wants to try and make superheroes legal again. However, the best way to go about making supers legal is to put Elastsgirl in the public eye since she doesn’t have as much controversy as Mr. Incredible.

Thus, enter Elastagirl going to fight bad guys and Mr. Incredible staying at home taking care of the kids. Needless to say, hilarity ensues.

Also, Edna. Can’t forget, Edna.

All in all, I would say this movie was a great sequel. It even could have been a stand-alone. If waiting 14 years means that the second movie is going to be as great as the first I might be willing to wait longer for sequels (not quite 14 years, but you get my meaning).
