To the outside world, Annabel Greene seems to have it all.  She is a teen model with a successful career, popular friends, and a loving family.  But behind the picture perfect façade, secrets lurk in the shadows.  At home, Annabel’s older sister is losing the battle with anorexia, and everyone in the family just keeps looking the other way.  And at school, things are even worse.  In fact, Annabel spent all summer in a self-imposed exile.  But now that school has started again, she finds herself shunned by all her old friends.  Everything got messed up at the end-of-the-year party in June, but Annabel is not talking, or even thinking about what happened at that party.  With no one to talk to or eat lunch with, Annabel finds herself drawn to Owen, the school’s loner who is obsessed with music and always telling the truth.
