Wicked Girls: A Novel of the Salem Witch Trials by Stephanie Hemphill

By teen lib

March 22, 2013

What starts out as girls playing games turns into the most famous of all witch hunts.  When several individuals fall prey to illness, Ann, Margaret, and Mercy recognize and seize the opportunity to wield power in a world that largely ignores them.  Knowingly faking their afflictions, the girls make their accusations.  But once the game begins and the accusations begin mounting, the girls will need to decide if it’s too late to tell the truth.
